Why should we get family photos taken?
Family photo sessions are a way to capture a beautiful moment in time and preserve it forever. In time, these photos will become your family’s most valued treasure — a way of revisiting cherished memories in vivid detail. I promise you won’t regret it!
Do you offer print products and albums?
Yes! Your photos deserve to be more than profile pictures and screensavers. They are meant to be heirloom items that are passed on down for generations. Your family is your most beautiful artwork and should be displayed proudly in your home. You can order prints, albums, canvases, frames and much more right from your viewing gallery.
When should we get family photos?
There’s no time like the present! I photograph families year-round, but I usually recommend scheduling family photoshoots for the spring and fall, since these are the best times of year for an outdoor family photo session. Outdoor photoshoots are great because we can schedule sessions an hour before sunset and take advantage of the prettiest lighting.
Where do you take the photos?
Family photos are photographed during golden hour (an hour before sunset) in Quesnel and various outdoor locations in the surrounding area. During the colder months, the photoshoots can also be held in your home or other unique indoor locations in the area. I always love new ideas and locations, so if you have an idea, definitely don’t hesitate to let me know!
What is your photography style?
My style is a mix of carefully staged portraits mixed with more natural, candid shots. During the photoshoot, I will offer you lots of gentle guidance throughout the session so you can feel confident and at ease while looking your absolute best.
What are your prices for family photo packages?
Usually, family photoshoots cost an average of $750 each.
